Setting Info

Dogtrot

Located somewhere between San Angelo and Fredericksburg, Texas, Dogtrot sits by itself on a little stretch of road. In the past two years it has undergone development to revive the town and bring it into the modern day. A new high school is being built along with several small conveniance stores and an apartment complex. A fountain featuring a statue of a bull sits in the middle of town. It's home to new families and long-established cattlefarmers. Dogtrot is bigger than it used to be but it's still not big enough to have a Walmart. A lot of the buildings are old canneries and processing plants that have been condemned. The newer part of town sits toward the South and faces the desert and eventually, Washatog. The older part of town faces north and the skyline grows more sparce the closer to the edge it gets.

The Nest

The nest is a repurposed underground office space of a condemned building that Horas rigged some electricity to. It has a couple of rooms with cots to sleep on as well as a communal living room with a TV, ratty sofa, and kitchenette. Down a short staircase is another room with a heavy door where Bert rides out his transformations. There is another room that leads upstairs from the living room into Charlie's private living space. The Nest has been active for at least ten years.

Maurice's Trailer

When the story begins, Maurice is living in a little trailer on the edge of Mr. Foss's property. Maurice lived in the trailer for two years while he shadowed under Mr. Corey at the Gas N' Go as well as serving as his employee at the station proper. The trailer has one bathroom, one bedroom, and a combonation livingroom/kitchen with a halfwall divider.

Meranda's Trailer

Originally her dad's, Meranda resides in a little trailer in a trailer park on the north outskirts of Dogtrot. It has two bedrooms, a utility room, livingroom/kitchen, and one bathroom. Has a sizable front porch with a swing. (I will include a SIMS 4 Model soon.)

Elsewhere

Maurice's Childhood Home

Located in Tworock Texas, about two hours north of Dogtrot. Margret and Zachary Hutch live here with at least eight cats and two pasture pet horses.

Washatog

College town South of Dogtrot with an actual nightlife. It's bigger than Dogtrot though it hasn't been around for half as long. It boasts restaurants and apartments and night classes and the main sport of the college is basketball.
