Dogtrot Characters

Maurice Hutch
A humble and skittish vampire who is stuck in the 80's. Maurice tries his best to be a good person while he navigates the strangeness that his life has become. Currently living out of his truck.

Meranda Leeds
A spicy lady with a somewhat mysterious past who moved to Dogtrot from Chicago. Meranda works at the Fred's Gas n' Go with Maurice and lives in a trailer on the outskirts of town.

Charlie
She seems grumpy at first but only because of the recent threat posed to her Nest of vampires. Charlie is over 200 years old and isn't about to let anyone forget it.

Horas Valentine
Cheerful, carefree, and somewhat irresponsible, Horas is in charge of Maurice's vampire education. Horas is not super thrilled about it but the dork is growing on him. Maurice is becoming something of a little brother to him. He likes to disappear for weeks at a time but nobody knows where he goes.

Terri
The heart of The Dogtrot Murder, Terri works at the Bluebonnette Nursing Home in town. She doesn't talk about her life before coming to live in Dogtrot and prefers to lend an ear to others instead. Along with Horas, she is charged with teaching Maurice all about being a vampire.

Bloodtears / Ravenwing / Darkshadowheartblood / Etc... aka George
A gloomy goth who only cares about his cellphone and his brother. Forever on the search for a "cool" vampire name. He keeps on the downlow because he's tehcnically still a missing person.

Bert
A young flute player turned werewolf just trying to understand what's happened to him. His brother George watches him like a hawk and it honestly makes Bert really nervous.

Margret Hutch
A nearly six foot wall of woman, Margret is Maurice's mom. She worries about her boy with all this vampire business but stands by him no matter what. She'd help him hide a body if she had to.

Jhonez
A volunteer firefighter who moonlights as a monster hunter. Enemy(?) of The Dogtrot Murder...
