I thought I'd make a blog post and shine a spotlight on some of my favorite pieces of art that I've received, either as gifts, through trades, or by commissioning them. I'd like to do this occasionally, so I'm slapping a big number ONE at the top of this entry! So here we go!
Button Your Fly
This is one of my most favorite drawings of Roman. GeekGirl captured him so perfectly with his lazy pose and his cocky expression. I really love the shirt the artist drew him in and especially his face shape. And hair. I love it a lot.
Pistol for a Mouth

This portrait of Deuteronomy is one of my top five pieces of art I've ever gotten. It captures her energy very well and I adore the dynamic pose. The smoky breath is so eerie along with the way she emerges from the darkness of the fighting ring.
Dude What's Wrong With Your Dog?
I received this one not terribly long after I started using Crash as a primary fursona. It was such a delight to get something that encapsulates the essence of a character so clearly. The glitch effect is super cool and I love the way Crash wags their tail. It's simple and so nicely animated.

I love a traditional art. The atmosphere in this one is very much what I'm trying to relay in my Hawksaw stories. A crumbling little nowhere town slowly getting swallowed by the woods that surround it. I love the folds and details in JW's shirt here and his "walking stick" of choice.
I'm A Real Boy
This was a wonderful surprise drawing made for me from a friend from a Beetlejuice roleplay server. As is wont to happen, the Beetlejuice I played slowly morphed into entirely his own person soI just made him into an OC at that point. This drawing was made for me right on that cusp so this is technically the first drawing of Larry to exist.
In the Sky
A breathtaking piece I was gifted by a dear sweet friend when I was going through the events of losing my sister. It was a total surprise to log onto and I hold the memory very close to my heart. Levetates Toward You At Alarming Speeds
This picture makes me laugh every single time I look at it. Giving the cheerful, if mischevious Little Wizard such an aura is comedy gold to me. I love the eye sparkles and the sound effect I imagine it like a really crunch NES soundbite as she just levitates towards someone and turns them into a donkey aahahuaha.
